Bow Windows
Bow Windows are designed to create space by projecting beyond the exterior wall of a building, and to provide a wider view of the garden or street outside, and typically combine four or more casement windows, which join together to form an arch.
Single Hung Windows
The single-hung window consists of a single pane of glass that covers the entire window space and does not move. Consequently, the single-hung window is sometimes called a fixed window. Single-hung windows are available in both new construction or replacement window styles. The chief advantage of the fixed window is that it limits air intrusion, since there are no seams that must be blocked with window seals.
Casement Windows
Casement windows are simply pushed open, but most have a hand crank. Screens are placed on the inside of the window, where they’re more protected from the elements. If you’re installing windows over a sink, counter top or appliance, a casement window with a crank can be the perfect solution.
